Canoe Polo Australia Day Weekend Competition (this Saturday)

Thursday, 21 January 2010

Please be reminded that the Australia Day Weekend Competition is this Saturday 23rd Jan 2010 and games start at 9AM. It is recommended that people arrive around 8:30AM to allow for time to find a park and to transport kayaks and gear to the field. Games finish at 6PM.

The location of the competition is at Mawson Lakes (near the boatshed if you know where that is). For those that are using a street directory or GPS, I believe you can go down Douglas Drive or Fourth Avenue in Mawson Lakes. In the Technology Park precinct.

The preliminary competition draw is currently available on the NDCC website. This may change and will be updated on Thursday and Friday evenings, so please check to ensure you have the latest information. Please click on the following link to go straight to the page with the Australia Day information. The draw is available by clicking on a link about two-thirds of the way down the page.

There is no better way to end a day of playing than to gather with friends - eating good food and drinking good wine talking about the wins from the day and telling a few lies.
