All nominations will be based on the paddler’s record of achievement in all or any aspect of marathon canoeing in 2009.  Nominees must have been a member of Australian Canoeing in 2009 in order to qualify.

Awards will be decided by the Honours and Awards Committee whose decision will be final and will be announced at the conclusion of the 2010 Australian Canoe Marathon Championships in Adelaide.  The Australian Canoeing reserves the right not to make an award in a category if insufficient nominations of merit are received.

Nominations should be made on the attached form and submitted to the Honours and Awards Committee, Australian Canoeing Inc., PO Box 6805, Silverwater  NSW  2128 or via email to info@canoe.org.au with “2009 Marathon Paddler OTY” as the subject heading, by 5 March 2010.
