2010 Gregory River Canoe Marathon

The North West Canoe Club is offering prize money in a Mixed TK2 Challenge at the 2010 Gregory River Race.

This year is the 35th annual race with the event only being cancelled once due to excess water. 

The event is held on the Gregory River approximately 300km north of Mt Isa and forms part of may other activities over the Labour Day (Queensland) long weekend at the tiny township of Gregory Downs.  Close by is the Lawn Hill National Park.

Prize money for the Mixed TK2 Challenge is first - $3000, second - $1500 and third - $500.  Craft specification as per the Australian Canoeing Marathon Racing rules.
